About Me

Hello travelers!

Welcome to my blog, Adventures of a Car Girl. Take a look around, read about my journeys. Check out the gallery if you just want to look at some photos of some of the events I’ve seen and things I’ve done. Now I’ll get in to about me. On this blog, I will talk about cars. Events, shows, drives, autocross. I will also talk about my life. Places I travel to and things I am able to experience. You will meet some of my friends along the way. I’ll give advice, share my struggles and triumphs. I started this blog so that others will be able to experience the journey with me and so that I can leave something behind. Will you come on this adventure with me?

I’m a car girl. What does that mean? It means I take part in a mostly male dominated hobby. I’ve met some amazing people and found myself along the way. But in reality, the car world found me. It all started in 2013 when my first car, a MINI Cooper Hardtop 2013, came home.

This was the first photo (of many) that I would take of my car. I had no idea what the universe had in store for me.. In the following years, I found my niche, car shows. At first, I attended them with LuLu (MINI in the picture above). But then, in 2017, I brought home another beauty..

Meet Louisa, lovingly named after my grandfather who passed away earlier that year.

Flash forward to present day. I run a car show in Southern New Hampshire and a regional group in New Hampshire as well. I assist at other events. I’m more confident that have ever been and I am exploring the world more and more. There is so much to see and experience and I intend to do as much as I can with my time.

Go check out my first blog post, “Welcome to the Starting Line,” for a full story of my cars and the journey to bring home my Classic MINI. Individual links to my posts can be found under the “Blog Post” tab in chronological order.

Capitalize on your day, and don’t wait until tomorrow.

Motor on.
